Wisconsin Proposes Resale Zone

The state of Wisconsin recently introduced two versions of a bill allowing local governmental units and the University of Wisconsin to establish a resale zone. Assembly Bill 656 and Senate Bill 458 would allow the university, a political subdivision, a professional baseball or football district, or the Bradley Center to create specific resale zones on their property.

The Better Ticketing Association asks that all Wisconsin ticket brokers be aware of this legislation during the 2010 session. We will continue to monitor this and other potential bills that emerge during the legislative session.
