New Federal Bill Protecting Resale Unveiled Representatives Jim Matheson of Utah and
co-sponsor Lee Terry of Nebraska recently submitted a legislative
proposal to Congress intended to protect event ticket resale. House
Resolution 4795, titled "To prohibit restrictions on the resale of event
tickets sold in interstate commerce as an unfair or deceptive act or
practice," was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce on
March 9, 2010.

ask them to sign on as a co-sponsor to the bill.
